Team Walk

MTP Team Walks are fun group walk with the added variation of a number of group short duration higher intensity microburst exercises. The group walks at their own pace,usually in small groups, for intervals as defined by the coach,between which all memebres regroups for a short 1 minute group exercise. Various obstacles and available objects on the rroute, seats, steps, benches etc are used as mid walk equipment,directed by the coach. Hills and valleys provide extra variations of exercise intensity. Conversing while walking or running is encouraged to help keep you in an optimum lower intensity fat burning Zone, while not overdoing it.

  • Increasing regular daily physical activity especially if overweight is critical.
  • Daily low to moderate intesity exercise like walking is sufficient.
  • Some short duration Microburst higher intensity activity should be included.
  • Group/Team exercise participation maximizes chances of staying with it.

The Walks

MTP Team Walk sessions start at pre-arranged locations that are convenient to the group. Other walks are chosen for their scenic value. Parks,lakeside walks,beaches,and wooded walking trails are favoured. For inner city walks ,pedestrian precinct areas and bike paths are favoured. Major roads and traffic spots with their pollution hazards are avoided.

Weigh ins and the brief weekly lecture are provided at the start location.followed by the 45 minute . We advisefor safety that no one walks alone.

MTP Team Game

MTP game sessions embody friendly games chosen to foster teamwork and encourage continuous light to moderate exercise with bursts of higher level intensity. They are mostly adaptations of mainstream sports modified to increase the fun factor and be suitable for all participants even higher weight participants. Some extra higher intensity segments are added to some games to get the benefits of Microburst Exercise.

MTP 60 Microburst Training

Our 60 second microburst static sprint training that can be easily added by almost anyone to their daily life.
Static sprinting can even be added into to a normal work day on days your time for participating in a dedicated exercise session is not possible.You can do them in the office, hotel room, your living room ,even while traveling on airplanes.
MTP 60 static sprints can be added to any low to moderate exercise program to add EPOC, "afterburn", and other HIIT benefits.
